DESTRUCTION: New Album Will Be "Big Improvement"
May 31, 2002The current line-up of DESTRUCTION—bassist/vocalist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer, guitarist Mike Sifringer and drummer Marc Reign—are hard at work on the material for their next studio album, which is tentatively due to be recorded at the end of the year for an April 2003 release through Nuclear Blast Records. According to a statement posted at the band's official web site, "[the] first rough cuts are really impressive… New drummer Marc brings more intenseness and technical ability... Expect a big improvement in the 'positive' way!" In other news, a DVD/home video is currently being put together and will include footage filmed during the group's upcoming European summer appearances.
